Our angel

This session was so. much. fun. We basically split it up into three parts, and this is the first. We visited one of their favorite streets in downtown Decatur. There was an adorable little popcorn/candy store that we had so much fun with. The little guy is Ben. He is a character! He would sit and wave at everyone driving by….it couldn’t have been more adorable. And let’s talk for just a second about how amazing these three look! We actually got stopped at one point and Andy got asked if he was running for office . I’m anxious to share the rest, but there were just too many for one post.

And mom, before you ask (because I know you will ), I pulled off to the side of the road to take the picture. Yes…I pulled my car off the highway and spent about 10 minutes taking pictures of the gorgeous sunset…what of it?

We have a preschooler! I can’t even put into words how proud I am (we both are) of this little big girl! Yesterday was her first real official day of preschool. We took a stab at preschool last year…and promptly realized that 2 was just too young for her to start school. Every drop off was filled with tears and clinging and pleading for me not to go. Yesterday was so much different! Hailey woke up a little nervous, but looking forward to preschool. We arrived plenty early so we got some time to warm up to everything before she was rushed off to start her day. By the time they were ready to head into the classroom, she whispered “mommy, it’s okay if you go home now”!!!! Cue the tears . I was actually fine until I saw some of the other moms crying…then I teared up a bit. But we are all so ready for preschool, this is going to be a great year .
