The light last night was the kind that makes my heart happy. If only I had more Smarties
I could have shot so much more. Unfortunately, little miss here was working the bribes….and I ran out :/

This handsome little man stole my heart this past fall. And lucky me, we got to hang out again this morning.
And lucky me, his mom brought along another fun hat (and that tie?!). Love.

I have a question. Where the heck are all the girls?! I haven’t gotten to photograph a little girl (besides my own) in forever! Come on folks…I need a pink fix.
However, this little man is adorable enough to make up for it. To see these two grow into parents and fall completely in love with their brand new baby is the greatest honor. Love this little guy to pieces.

I am totally going to justify a late Father’s Day post by the fact that I was actually spending time with some of the most important fathers in my life. Unfortunately, I couldn’t be with my dad, but we got to spend the day grilling, blowing bubbles and being greatful for these amazing men.
My father-in-law (a king in Hailey’s eyes
):

And my hubs (new all time fave picure):

He’s such a good dad…he lets Hailey play with his sunglasses ![]()

Happy late father’s day guys! We couldn’t do it without you.

How in the world can she be 3? I mean…she was just born! It was just yesterday that I was absolutely exhausted/drained/had nothing left (after a failed epidural, 30 hours of labor and 2 1/2 hours of pushing…that I will never ever let anyone forget
)…but I had everything in the world to give our new baby girl. It was a day that changed our lives beyond belief.
And, of course, now we could not ever imagine our lives without her. She is the light of our lives. She’s our little punko and our little princess.
She loves all things pink, glitterly and girly. She’s started saying “I love you” just because. She and her pink nigh-nigh are still inseparable.
And while we’re taking the trip down memory lane…I can’t help but miss our old house. And our old yard…I mean, how great is this?!
We have so many great memories of this home, our back yard, our pool that was always open to the entire neighborhood. It’s very hard for me to be away from that. I miss it far more than I ever thought I would.
Our little goof ball. She is totally developing into her own little unique person and we couldn’t love her any more than we do. We are so greatful to get to watch this little one grow up. We are quite lucky. Happy birthday sweet girl.

I mean…the things we do to these kids at my sessions…gee whiz. Had fun with you guys this morning. Thankfully, we evaded the snake.

We are making a serious habit out of spending our evenings on the lake lately. I’m not gonna lie…it’s pretty perfect.
PS…I know it’s rediculous, but I am slightly extremely terrified of actually being in the lake water. It has a lot to do with the slimy, creepy fish swimming around under there and everything I can’t see. I just can’t handle it. But I am oh so proud to say that this is one silly little fear I have not passed on to Hailey…she is loving the water and learning to swim like a champ! Yay Hailey!

It was just a tad warm this morning (85 degrees at 8am…ugh). This little man is very considerate though, he cooled me off with his watering can
. And then we got popsicles. Can. not. believe he is 3. Happy birthday Tyler!

What a weekend. We were very blessed to have our Memorial Day weekend full of friends, family, and great times. Hailey turns 3 next week (three?! un. real.). For the last 6 months the only thing she has talked about is her Halloween party. So when asked what she wanted to do for her birthday party, she insisted on a Halloween birthday party. Until about a week before-hand, when she insisted on a princess Halloween birthday party. I can work with that. When we sent out the invitations I thought the kids would have a blast dressing up, but I truly didn’t expect any adults to play along. I can’t tell you how much it touched me when one by one people started calling excited about what they would be for the party. Everyone got into our Memorial Day Princess Halloween Birthday Bash. Our little girl is only (almost) 3 years old and she has so many people on her side. I’ll have to do another post with more pictures from the party, but everyone had a great time. I even got a little trick-or-treating going.
Hailey dressed up as Belle from Beauty and the Beast for the party, but when everyone had left and she was excitedly pouring through her new treasures, she just had to change into this adorable fairy dress. I kind of love these quiet snapshots of the calm after the storm. A very tired, content party girl. Love you, xoxo.

I could watch her concentrate on coloring all day long. So intense.
