I can only imagine the irreparable damage I am causing to this sweet little girl by having a camera in my face half the time . I love these just as much as I love any other photo of her. Ah the life of a photographer’s child .

A few weeks ago I introduced you to  my ‘one frame a day’ series. Only a month behind, here are the February frames. I’m reluctant to say we’re entirely in the clear, because you weather in the midwest likes to be sneaky, but I’m so glad to say we haven’t seen the white stuff Justin is shoveling in that second picture in quite a while. I was a little nervous to begin this project, because I actually have to follow through with it. But looking back on just the first 2 months of the year, I am so so glad to have forced myself to take the time to capture every day life. I encourage anyone reading this blog to do the same. Even if you don’t have children. There is beauty everywhere you look, every day. You just have to take the time to notice it, and capture it.

A few months back I posted our session with my favorite Michele Anderson during our vacation to Texas. Its been so long since our vacation, I almost don’t even want to post these photos out of embarassment. However, they are finally here on the blog…a nice view on this cold, stormy midwest morning. It is so very great to get to get away with my two favorite people in the entire world and just focus on us being a family for a week. This was our first real family vacation and I can’t wait for the next one.
